Tealy's New Year Disaster

Tealy, Dird, and DumbDird were sitting around the living room of Tealy’s house, eagerly awaiting the New Year. The room was dimly lit, with a few scattered snacks and half-empty drink cups littering the coffee table. Tealy had the countdown ready, and Dird was excitedly looking at the clock, while DumbDird, as always, was being... well, DumbDird.

“Alright, guys!” Tealy shouted. “We’re gonna count down together, okay?”

The clock showed 11:59 PM, and everyone was ready for the big moment. DumbDird, naturally, was preoccupied with a snack, and Dird was bouncing in place, as if he couldn’t contain his excitement.

“3... 2... 1...” Tealy counted down dramatically. “HAPPY NEW YEAR!”

And then, right on cue, DumbDird let out an impressive fart.

The room filled with an odd silence before everyone burst out laughing. The power, as if on cue, flickered and then went out entirely, plunging the room into complete darkness.

“Well, I guess that’s 2025 for ya!” Tealy shouted, his voice echoing in the dark. “Here comes the new year... and... no lights!”

Just as if it were a sign of the new year’s unpredictability, there was a knock on the door. DumbDird scrambled up to answer it, and when he opened the door, he found an unexpected pizza delivery person standing outside, holding a large, hot pizza box.

“Uh... this is for... uh... Tealy?” the delivery person said, looking confused in the dark.

“Durr, thanks!” DumbDird replied, grabbing the pizza box and turning to Tealy with a proud grin. “I ordered this, I guess...?”

Tealy, still chuckling at the random situation, stood up. “DumbDird, I didn’t order any pizza.”

“I did,” DumbDird shrugged. “Durr, the power’s out, but at least we got pizza!”

Dird nodded with a mischievous grin. “2025 is looking good already.”

“Yeah,” Tealy agreed, “nothing like ringing in the new year with a fart, a pizza, and no power. 2025 is... cool.”

DumbDird, always the unpredictable one, took a giant bite out of the pizza, his expression a mix of contentment and satisfaction. “Yup, it’s perfect. Now, what’s next?”

Tealy looked around at the group, a little confused but mostly amused by how absurd everything had become. The night was far from ordinary, but as always, it was unforgettable.

“Next?” Tealy said. “I guess we just wait for the power to come back... or maybe just eat more pizza while it’s still hot.”

The trio settled back into their spots, ready to embrace whatever 2025 would throw their way.

After all, with DumbDird around, anything could happen.
